Bill is a venture capital general partner with more than 20 years experience in technology, including hands-on engineering, market consulting, equity research and venture investing. In these capacities, he has worked with emerging start-up companies to large and established industry leaders in markets including energy and power, communication systems, semiconductors, photonics and displays. With this diverse background, Bill commands a deep understanding of leading edge technologies, and their markets and adoption dynamics. In addition, his experience and personal relationships within the U.S. and European venture communities provide a valuable cross-Atlantic network for generating dealflow, evaluating opportunities, syndicating financings and facilitating business development. He returned to San Francisco in 2006 after 3 years in Europe, where he was involved with various
technology initiatives while continuing his investment work with TeleSoft. His network of professional contacts continues to expand in both geographic and industry perspectives, and includes executives in financial, governmental and commercial sectors.
